GenealogyBank features a wealth of exclusive material including the largest U.S. obituary collection available online, U.S. historical newspapers dating as far back as the 1600's, historical books, pamphlets, military records, government documents and more. At GenealogyBank, we are dedicated to helping people discover those interesting stories and details about their ancestors.

- Hourly wage + commission average $13-15/hr. Top sellers earning up to $21 per hour total.

- Initiate outbound phone calls to current and prospective customers and engage with inbound calls

- Conduct needs-based selling by using non-scripted probing techniques to determine customer needs and to offer the most appropriate product or service to address those needs

- Up-sell additional products/services

- Meet or exceed individual goals, including revenue and productivity metrics.

- Contribute ideas on ways to improve sales process

- Maintain basic knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and procedures



- Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner, both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to probe to identify, evaluate and recommend products and services.

- Ability to multi-task at a computer while talking to a customer over the telephone

- Team mentality balanced by the ability to work independently.

- Basic knowledge of PC operations and Windows-based applications.


Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 6-12 months of sales or related work experience preferred.

- Experience in a telesales/call center capacity a plus

- Knowledge or study of family history a major plus.
