At GenealogyBank, we are dedicated to helping people discover those interesting stories and details about their ancestors.

- Average hourly wage of $13-$15 (base+commission) Top sellers earning $17-$19 per hour. (base + commission)

- Initiate outbound phone calls to current and prospective customers; also, inbound phone calls to upsell.

- Conduct needs-based selling by using non-scripted probing techniques to determine customer needs and to offer the most appropriate product or service to address those needs

- Up-sell additional products/services

- Meet or exceed individual goals, including revenue and productivity metrics.

- Contribute ideas on ways to improve sales process

- Maintain basic knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and procedures



- Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner, both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to probe to identify, evaluate and recommend products and services.

- Ability to multi-task at a computer while talking to a customer over the telephone

- Team mentality balanced by the ability to work independently.

- Basic knowledge of PC operations and Windows-based applications.


Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 6-12 months of sales or related work experience preferred.

- Experience in a telesales/call center capacity a plus

- Knowledge or study of family history a major plus.
